The Artist
The creator of the motifs is Sonja Iwanow Karlsson. The beauty found in nature and her surroundings inspires her and awakens her desire to paint. It may be a delicate shell, a budding rose, or a freshly baked bun that serves as the model for new motifs.
Sonja studied at HDK, Master of Fine Arts in Design.
The Company
Karlsson Illustration offers cards and prints with motifs inspired by the coast, nature, and the small things close to everyday life. The first cards were launched as early as 1999.
We cater to private individuals as well as retailers and businesses. Bookshops and florists, gift and interior design stores, tourist offices, garden centres, and museum shops are just a few examples.

The Products
The products are printed on fine, high-quality paper that captures the feel of an original painting. The majority of our cards are blank inside, leaving room for a personally chosen message — something many of our customers appreciate. The Environment
With nature as our source of inspiration, it is a natural choice to partner with an environmentally certified printer in western Sweden. Environmental certification means that the printed products meet the stringent requirements in accordance with ISO 14001:2015. Read more…
